Paul Moorcraft: So you want to be a war correspondent?

Professor Paul Moorcraft is Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy Analysis. He is an international media relations expert specialising in security issues.  Paul has worked for Time magazine, the BBC and most of the Western TV networks as a freelance producer/war correspondent.

Paul talks about his experiences as a war correspondent from his book, Inside the Danger Zones, on Saturday 21st May at the Camberley Theatre from 2.0pm – 3.0pm.

Rusty Firmin is an ex-SAS officer, of whose exploits in the Iranian Embassy siege prime minister Mrs Thatcher said, “Courage, and confidence — a brilliant operation. It made us all — all — proud to be British.” Rusty’s book, Go! Go! Go! was reviewed in the Times.

Marion Dante: Dropping the Habit

Marion Dante was interviewed on the BBC Radio 4 Saturday Live’s Topical Stories discussing her experiences. Her biography of time as a nun and returning to the world outside the convent, uncovers the personal doubts and questioning of accepted certainties. Marion’s talk is at the Camberley Theatre on Friday 20th May at 2.0pm – 3.0pm.
